Reasons Why Engineers are Facing More Difficulty Obtaining Equivalency Certificates for the UPDA Exam in Qatar

By on May 31st, 2024 in Uncategorized

Many engineers face difficulties obtaining equivalency certificates for the UPDA Exam in Qatar for several reasons:

  1. Incomplete Documentation: Many engineers submit incomplete documents, which leads to delays as they need to provide additional information.
  2. Verification from Concerned Countries: Certificates, including school equivalency certificates, must be sent to the relevant countries for approval, which adds significant time to the process.
  3. Regular Follow-ups: Engineers often need to follow up regularly after submission, which can contribute to delays in the process.
  4. University Equivalency Requirements: When applying for university equivalency, engineers must fill out a data waiver form and provide the correct email address of their institution or university for fast communication. Incorrect or incomplete information in this form can further delay the process.
  5. School Equivalency Forms: For school equivalency, engineers must fill out two forms: the obligation documents and the delegation documents. These forms require accurate contact information and a declaration that all provided information is correct. Errors or omissions in these forms can also lead to delays.

To expedite the equivalency process, engineers must ensure all information and documentation are complete and accurate from the start. Future Point is dedicated to guiding engineers through this complex process, ensuring they provide the correct details and submit all necessary documents properly.

Very Imporatant Updation For the Equivalency process for UPDA Exan Qatar

Equivalency certification can be a lengthy process because it requires approval from the Ministry of Education of the concerned country. Previously, this was not the case for school equivalency processes, but now school equivalency also requires approval, causing delays. Engineers are understandably anxious about receiving timely updates. It’s important to be patient and wait for the final approval. Additionally, engineers who have completed a bachelor’s degree after finishing a diploma will need to obtain equivalency for the diploma first before the degree can be processed, which further extends the timeframe.

Future Point advises ensuring that all documentation is thorough, clear, and accurate from the start, as the application cannot be edited until it is rejected. Proper documentation is crucial to avoid delays. If the documents are incomplete or incorrect, the application may be held up. Therefore, it is essential to follow up frequently and take the necessary steps to address any issues promptly to avoid prolonged delays.

Some universities receive approval faster because they have been processed before, which speeds up the process compared to new universities. The efficiency of these processes heavily depends on prior documentation. Therefore, it’s crucial for each engineer to ensure their documents are complete and accurate to avoid delays. Proper care and attention to the documentation process can significantly impact the approval timeline.

However, if the Ministry needs to send the documents to the engineer’s home country for clarification, it may take more time.
