PMI’s Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP®) credential is a response to the increasing demand of specialized expertise managing complex projects. Globally recognized, the PMIRMP® credential demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to successfully lead and direct risk management activities within the projects. This classroom course is aimed at people who work, or would like to work as a project risk manager on a daily basis and would like to achieve the PMI-RMP® Certification. Specifically, this course is for project managers who want to master the Risk Management framework within the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®). Mastering the course will enable learners to apply risk management processes, tools & techniques and practices to daily life, work and most importantly when managing projects. At the end of this course, you will be able to take the exam and at the same time know how to apply your risk management knowledge in practice in the position of a project risk management professional.

If you have advanced knowledge and experience in risk management, or if you are a project manager focused on project risk management, including for large projects and/or complex environments, then the PMI-RMP® is an excellent choice for you

  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and you have 3.5 hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PMI-RMP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) in risk management topics every three years.
  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent)
  • 36 months of project risk management experience within the last 5 years
  • 40 hours of project risk management education
