Our intensive coaching program is designed to provide engineers with the tools they need to excel in the UPDA Electrical Exam. We take pride in our straightforward study process, which is aimed at ensuring the success of our candidates. MMUP/UPDA, which stands for the Urban Planning and Development Authority in Qatar, operates under the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (MMUP). Currently, it is named the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME). While obtaining MMUP/UPDA licenses was not mandatory in the past, recent changes now require all engineers, regardless of their experience background, to obtain these licenses. These licenses are essential for engineers with engineering visas to reside in Qatar, and compliance with the new standards proposed since November 2019 is crucial.
In an effort to enhance the quality of engineers in the country, the government of Qatar introduced the MMUP/UPDA system in 2014. It plays a vital role in ensuring that engineers meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
However, many engineers encounter difficulties when attempting to take the MMUP/UPDA exam, primarily because their university is not listed on the MME website. In response to this challenge, Future Point has established a dedicated Equivalency Process Department to assist engineers from unlisted universities. Our team of expert consultants is well-equipped to guide and support individuals in resolving these issues.
It’s important to note that the university equivalency procedure can take a minimum of 3 to 6 months, depending on effective communication between the university and the MME department. We understand the time sensitivity of these matters and are committed to helping engineers navigate this process efficiently.”
