Certified Cost Professional (CCP) training will teach you the techniques of estimating, planning and cost control for the various stages of an industrial project. Having this knowledge will kick-start your career. The certification training follows the international standards set by the global organization of cost engineers, the AACE. The training allows you to take the necessary steps towards becoming a Certified Cost Professional (CCP). The Certified Cost Professional (CCP) designation is one of the most recognized certifications in the cost engineering and cost management domain globally. CCP is 40 hrs.   • 8 years industry related experience or
    4 years industry related experience + 4-year industry related college degree

The Certified Cost Professional examination is a broadly desired and demanding examination. The exam can be daunting if you are not prepared well. The CCP exam is a closed-book exam, tests 4 modules, consists of 120 questions and takes 5 hours. The Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam contains 2 components: the multiple-choice exam and the 2,500-word technical paper. To pass the exam you must meet the minimum overall score of 70%. The 4 modules that are tested on your CCP examination are:
1. Basic cost engineering skills and knowledge
2. Economic analysis
3. Project management
4. Cost estimating and control

With regard to your technical paper (obligatory in order to enroll for the Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam), your instructors will advise you inappropriate topics and assist you in setting up a good framework. Furthermore, they will evaluate your paper when ready and provide feedback. The instructors will also check if your paper is written according to the AACE standards so that it will be approved by the AACE examination board.
